SupplyCity — wholesale, rebuilt for the web.
A custom B2B eCommerce platform built with MedusaJS — optimized for wholesale, bulk ordering, and business account workflows.

Wholesale ordering,
built for how they actually work.
SupplyCity LLC is a U.S.-based distributor providing a wide range of essential goods — from cleaning supplies to business consumables — to companies, institutions, and organizations across the country. Their business relies heavily on B2B relationships, wholesale pricing, and operational efficiency.
With a growing product catalog and an expanding customer base, SupplyCity needed a modern platform that could scale with them and handle the complex workflows of B2B commerce.
Legacy infrastructure could not express the wholesale pricing their relationships depend on.
Every order consumed staff time that should have gone elsewhere.
Organizations had no way to give multiple users different levels of access.
Frontend performance was holding back conversion on phones.
Fulfilment and accounting systems could not be connected cleanly.
MedusaJS and a
custom architecture.
We chose MedusaJS as the backend engine and built a headless architecture to give full flexibility across the frontend and backend layers, so every part of the platform could be customized to how SupplyCity works.
Medusa's modular design gave us complete control. Unlike monolithic platforms, we could build each part of the experience around their business model without compromises — customizing product, pricing, and order logic, exposing clean APIs, and extending with plugins as needs appeared.
Each business user sees their own pricing, tax exemptions, and catalog access. Organizations can hold multiple users with different roles.
One-click reordering of frequent items, CSV upload for large orders, and bulk add-to-cart.
We extended the Medusa admin with advanced product and customer segmentation, inventory management, pricing tiers, and B2B workflows.
Built in React and Tailwind CSS for performance across every screen size. Speed and simplicity were the priorities.
Connected to their shipping provider and internal ERP through custom APIs and webhooks for seamless fulfilment and data sync.
“We finally have a system that works the way we do. It's fast, flexible, and gives our business customers the experience they expect. The team delivered exactly what we needed — and more.”
