Buketi.mk Marketplace

Every florist in the country,
one storefront.

Buketi.mk is the premier online destination for flower and gift delivery in Macedonia, connecting customers with the best local florists and gift shops across the country — fresh bouquets, flower boxes, and seasonal arrangements, curated in one place.

With a vision to modernize the traditional floral industry, Buketi.mk needed a platform that could unite independent florists under one digital roof while keeping a seamless, high-end shopping experience for customers.

The challenge
/01
Vendor management

Local florists needed an easy way to manage their own inventory, prices, and delivery slots without touching the main admin backend.

/02
Complex logistics

Delivery zones, time-specific slots, and order routing to the nearest vendor to guarantee freshness.

/03
Scalability

Handling traffic spikes during Valentine's Day and International Women's Day on 8 March.

/04
Unified experience

Customers buying from multiple florists in a single checkout flow, without friction.

MedusaJS for commerce,
MercurJS for the marketplace.

We chose MedusaJS as the headless commerce engine for its flexibility, and coupled it with MercurJS, a multi-vendor marketplace accelerator.

That combination let us launch a fully functional marketplace in record time. Medusa handled the core commerce logic — carts, orders, products — while MercurJS provided the multi-vendor infrastructure, including vendor dashboards and payout automation.

Key features
/01
Dedicated vendor dashboards

Powered by MercurJS, every florist gets their own dashboard to upload products, set stock levels, and view their orders in real time — autonomy for them, order for the platform.

/02
Advanced delivery scheduling

Customers pick a delivery date and time window. The system filters available vendors by city and municipality, so orders only route to florists who can fulfil them.

/03
Unified multi-vendor checkout

Items from different flower shops go into one cart. The backend splits the order to the correct vendors while the customer makes a single payment.

/04
Automated vendor payouts

On order completion the platform calculates commission and transfers the remaining revenue straight to the vendor, cutting administrative work.

/05
Localized experience

Full localization in Macedonian and English, with local payment gateways and MKD currency support.
