The brief was to make a regulated benefit feel like an everyday consumer payment app — fast enough to use in a lunch queue, and auditable enough to satisfy a corporate risk review.

Every transaction uses an ephemeral, time-limited token, and is verified in real time by cross-referencing the geolocation of both the merchant register and the employee's phone — so an allowance cannot be spent remotely or resold.
Wallet telemetry is walled off by design: personal purchasing categories are never sold to external marketing data brokers, and tenant data is isolated to meet GDPR obligations. Allowances default to a daily reset, keeping the stipend on nutrition rather than accumulating into lump sums.
English, Macedonian, Turkish and Albanian across every surface, so frontline retail staff read the interface in their own language.
